Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals and target audience.
  • Identify key platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) for brand presence and engagement.
  • Generate compelling and relevant content for social media channels, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and interactive content.
  • Curate industry-related content to share with the audience and stay up-to-date with trends.
  • Build and nurture an active and engaged online community around the company’s products and services.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and engaging manner.
  • Encourage user-generated content and facilitate conversations.
  • Develop a content calendar to plan and schedule posts, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
  • Monitor content performance and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor social media metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Generate regular reports showcasing key insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer support, to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to adapt strategies accordingly.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.

  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to conceptualize engaging content ideas.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating visuals is a plus.

  • Experience with paid social advertising is a bonus.
