Job Description
- Responsible for creating test plans
- Oversee projects to make sure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks and team strengths and assignment of resources across projects
- Oversee implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance test
- Assist in test environment setup/teardown, test automation, and exploratory testing
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation
- Provide suitable solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and client business processes
- Mentor Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions
- Keep all stakeholders updated about software process/status as per the project/product communication plan.
- Assist in coaching junior staff, by helping them to make decisions, solve problems, manage meetings, and set goals, provides feedback on testing-related tasks, delegates and assigns testing responsibilities
- Assist in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Proficient in API testing
- Advanced knowledge in SQL
- Implementation of the bug tracking tools
- Programming skills for automation testing. Experience in Selenium, JMeter and other tools
- Proficient use of Project Management Tools
- Understanding and analytics in business intelligence
