Job Description

  • Responsible for creating test plans
  • Oversee projects to make sure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks and team strengths and assignment of resources across projects
  • Oversee implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance test
  • Assist in test environment setup/teardown, test automation, and exploratory testing
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation
  • Provide suitable solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and client business processes
  • Mentor Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions
  • Keep all stakeholders updated about software process/status as per the project/product communication plan.
  • Assist in coaching junior staff, by helping them to make decisions, solve problems, manage meetings, and set goals, provides feedback on testing-related tasks, delegates and assigns testing responsibilities
  • Assist in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans

  • Proficient in API testing
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL
  • Implementation of the bug tracking tools
  • Programming skills for automation testing. Experience in Selenium, JMeter and other tools

Team Management:

  • Review and monitor the work of junior developers



  • Regular updates and reports of the project, sprints, and tasks to the concerned authority.
  • Prepare reports of all the tasks performed (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly) and submit them to the supervisor/team lead/managers when required.
  • Collect reports and work logs for team members (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly) and submit them to the supervisor/team lead/managers when required
